Mindful Global — Privacy Policy
How Mindful Global handles your data, by 4waydigital LLC. This policy is specific to this application and is distinct from the company-wide privacy policy.
Scope
This privacy policy applies specifically to the Mindful Global application (iOS, Android, and web versions at https://mindful.4way.digital). It describes what data Mindful Global collects, how we use it, and your rights.

Data we collect
Mindful Global collects only the data needed to deliver the service. We list every category below.
Account data
- Email address (for sign-in with Apple or Google)
- Display name and profile image (if provided)
Practice data
- Session history (which practice, when, duration)
- Mood check-in entries
- Journal entries (encrypted at rest)
- Course progress
Device data
- Device type, OS version, app version (for diagnostics)
- Crash logs (no personally identifiable content)
Specific to Mindful Global
- Journal entries are end-to-end encrypted where the app supports it; otherwise encrypted at rest. We cannot read journal content.
- Mood and practice data never leaves our servers and is never sold or shared for advertising.
How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
— Provide and operate the Mindful Global service (including sync across your devices, if you enable it).
— Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.
— Communicate with you about your account, subscription, or support requests.
— Comply with legal obligations (tax records, lawful requests).
We do not: sell your personal data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, use it to train AI models, or use it for any unrelated marketing purposes.
Retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except for:
— Data we are legally required to retain (billing records, typically 7 years under US tax law).
— Anonymized, aggregated data used for improving the product.
You can request account deletion at any time by emailing mindful@4way.digital.
Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)
Regardless of where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
— Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
— Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
— Deletion: request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements).
— Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
— Objection: object to or restrict processing.
— Withdraw consent: at any time, where processing is based on consent.
California residents: under the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA), you have specific rights including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA.

Security
We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures: HTTPS everywhere, encrypted storage at our providers, access controls on internal systems, and principle of least privilege for staff. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Children's privacy
Mindful Global is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact mindful@4way.digital and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify users in the app or by email.
