Tracker — Privacy Policy
How Tracker handles your data, by 4waydigital LLC. This policy is specific to this application and is distinct from the company-wide privacy policy.
Scope
This privacy policy applies specifically to the Tracker application (iOS, Android, and web versions at https://tracker.4way.digital). It describes what data Tracker collects, how we use it, and your rights.
The publisher is 4waydigital LLC, registered at 205 Encore Way, Freeport, FL 32439, United States.
Data we collect
Tracker collects only the data needed to deliver the service. We list every category below.
Account data
- Email address (for sign-in with Apple or Google)
- Display name (if provided)
Tracking data
- Time entries, categories, durations
- Habit records and check-in timestamps
- Custom categories and labels you create
Device data
- Device type, OS version, app version (for diagnostics)
- Crash logs (no personally identifiable content)
Specific to Tracker
- Tracker is local-first: your data lives primarily on your device. Sync is optional and you control it.
- If you disable sync, data never leaves your device. If you enable it, data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
— Provide and operate the Tracker service (including sync across your devices, if you enable it).
— Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.
— Communicate with you about your account, subscription, or support requests.
— Comply with legal obligations (tax records, lawful requests).
We do not: sell your personal data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, use it to train AI models, or use it for any unrelated marketing purposes.
Retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except for:
— Data we are legally required to retain (billing records, typically 7 years under US tax law).
— Anonymized, aggregated data used for improving the product.
You can request account deletion at any time by emailing tracker@4way.digital.
Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)
Regardless of where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
— Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
— Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
— Deletion: request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements).
— Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
— Objection: object to or restrict processing.
— Withdraw consent: at any time, where processing is based on consent.
California residents: under the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA), you have specific rights including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA.

Security
We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures: HTTPS everywhere, encrypted storage at our providers, access controls on internal systems, and principle of least privilege for staff. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Children's privacy
Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact tracker@4way.digital and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify users in the app or by email.
